Ice in Paradise is looking for friendly and qualified coaches to develop skaters within our programs. The facility offers year round recreational programs including group skating classes, youth and adult hockey, public skating, freestyles, camps and parties. Ice in Paradise is a non-profit community ice rink serving the Greater Santa Barbara area.
Requirements include:
● Have an energetic and positive personality
● Have experience teaching learn-to-skate and learn-to-play programs
● Instruct group classes for our learn-to-skate and learn-to-play programs
● Must have professional memberships and familiarity with both ISI and USFS
● Will have the ability to teach private lessons on freestyle, public skate and hockey private sessions

Job Title: Figure Skating Coach for Private Lessons and Learn to Skate Classes
Part time Class Coach to full time career Figure Skating Coaches living locally or looking to relocate. Good with young athletes and Adults as well as skaters just starting out. Our skating school is growing and needs coaches to help with the demand. Must have previous coaching experience. Ice show experience is helpful. Hockey experience is a bonus and would ensure an immediate and large clientele. We have approximately 400 skaters enrolled in our Skating Academy, many private lessons, several TOI teams and over 100 participants in our ice shows and recitals.
